A Fund Raising Musical Evening & Supper
The evening was a fundraising event to enable the European Box and Topiary Society to take forward its innovative Contemporary Topiary Design module for British Horticultural College.
It was held at the magical 17th century Southside House which formerly belonged to Axel Munthe, the renowned author of ‘The Story of San Michele’.
There were drinks and canapés served from 7pm, followed by a chamber music recital at 8pm which included Mark Nixon (piano), Shelley Levy (clarinet) and Leandro Silvera (cello). A buffet supper was served after the concert.
There were only 65 seats in the atmospheric Music Room, so supporters had to apply early for the memorable evening.
